Dahlia ‘Islander’

A deep rose pink with a hint of apricot,  ‘Islander’ is a spectacular dinner plate Dahlia, the petals are ruffled and curvaceous resulting in a luscious bloom.  It is one of my favourite dahlias, simply because of the colour tones.  It was first registered in 1983 in the USA by a J.A.Wickey.
